I am based in Kendal in the very wonderful North West of England and although I travel widely from here I am also increasingly photographing subjects closer to home.

I take on commercial shoots for organisations and enjoy producing creative ideas and solutions to the clients brief.

I also shoot for a couple of stock photography libraries.

I am one of the National Trusts Accredited Photographers and I shoot for the National Trust Picture Library. www.ntpl.org.uk

I have been a Fellow of The Royal Geographical Society since 1986.

In my spare time I potter about in open canoes, play Blues Harmonica with Tobacco Trail www.myspace.com/tobaccotrail and I'm attempting to learn the Mandolin.
